We remember her by
changing what happens next.
NAH 11 turns grief into action. Safer blocks, mentored youth and real opportunity for the next generation of Chicago.
A movement, not a memorial.
Ny’Andrea Dyer was caught in the crossfire of a Chicago gunfight. Her name is the reason we started but our work lives in the present tense: youth who are mentored, girls who are backed, dancers who get a stage, families who get a safer block.
We build what should have been there. Then we keep building.
Programs built around possibility.
At NAH11 Stop the Violence Corp., we believe preventing youth violence begins with creating opportunities for young people to feel supported, valued, and connected to their communities. Our programs and initiatives focus on education, mentorship, personal development, and community engagement, providing young people with the guidance, resources, and experiences that encourage positive decision-making and personal growth.
Through youth violence-prevention workshops, mentorship programs, leadership activities, and educational resources, NAH11 works to equip young people with practical skills to navigate challenges, resolve conflicts, build healthy relationships, and make informed choices about their futures. Our youth enrichment activities offer opportunities to explore new interests, develop talents, strengthen confidence, and connect with positive role models.
We also recognize that supporting young people means supporting the families and communities around them. Through community events, outreach efforts, and family resource initiatives, NAH11 seeks to strengthen neighborhood connections, increase access to essential resources, and encourage collaboration among residents, schools, businesses, and community organizations.

Stopping violence requires more than one organization. It requires a community.
Whether you donate, volunteer, mentor, sponsor a program, invite NAH11 into your school or organization, or simply help spread the message, you can play a role in protecting young people.
Your support helps turn loss into legacy.
